While Swati is seen experimenting with a number of accessories that are festive, this is what she has to say about her favourite festive accessories - “Jhumkas are the best festive accessory one must have. They are traditional yet contemporary and effortlessly compliment any outfit”.
Falguni Vasavada Oza @falgunivasavada: A professor at MICA and a fashion lover, Falguni’s fashion styles comes from the fact that she doesn't have one single fashion restricting her. Her sense of accessories is definitely inspiring and the way she styles them will leave you amazed. From the many accessories she possesses, it is definitely interesting to know what the style icon’s favorite pieces of jewels are when it comes to the festive season fashion and here is what she has to say - “ I love festivals for the fact that one can dress up in vibrant colors and accessories. I love experimenting with my looks and hence wear it all right from rational pearls to safest option gold to heirloom jewellery to antique. But these days I am in love with tribal Afghan jewellery which comes in bright colors. I love wearing tribal afghan chokers, necklaces, danglers, and earrings. They stand out and make a statement”.
Krupa Lakshminarayanan @ishtyleawhile: A known face in the world of blogging, Krupa from ishtyleawhile is a favorite when it comes to experimenting with Indian fashion and accessories. Her accessories and styling are truly unique and definitely worth following. We asked this ethnic diva about her favorite accessories that she vouches for festive fashion and here is what she has to say - “Jhumkas are a must have for a festive look. They can give any outfit a desi feel and you have such a wide range to choose from. From the pretty colourful silk thread jhumkas to the German silver ones with intricate work. There are long shoulder duster jhumkas and even dual tone jhumkas, you can be sure to find something that suits your personal style. So go find your perfect pair of jhumkas, smudge some kajal on your lash line and have a great festive season.”
Shreya Krishnan @drama.rani: Also known as ‘drama.rani’ in the world of Instagram, this multi-talented woman has many facets to her personality and style appeal. From the corporate world of marketing, Shreya is also an activist, dancer, theatre artist, poet and of course a jewellery lover. We couldn’t help but ask this boho diva what her festive jewellery favorites are and this is what we got to hear - “I'm a total junk jewellery person, I don't have a favorite because I wear all kinds of jewellery. For a festive look, I love temple jewellery as the antique finish and regal look lifts up any outfit. Having said that I'm a major silver jewellery lover and I collect silver to most parts. I'm actually consciously looking at buying more antique and gold polish options so I'll have a range of pieces to choose from. Jhumkas are pure love and festivities are incomplete without a jhumka dancing away on your ears. Neckpieces and statement jewellery are fun to play around with and you can mix and match them and choose from chokers to long chains and pendants which each give different looks. Bangles and cuffs can be magical as they tinkle like music on your wrists and oomph up any ethnic outfit! How can I not speak about nosepins, they add the right amount of character and can be used to highlight an ensemble.”
