Driven by passion and love for handmade, the brand Festivya emerged as a thought wave, that struck four friends who were on a backpacking trip in India exploring the country’s art and talent across the urban and the rural pockets.
It all started with another yearly rendezvous, when 4 friends set out to explore rural India. The local and the flea markets enticed these travelers with the diversity and creativity that the local artisans of India had. Every part of the country had its own distinct form and trends of jewellery which were unique in their own way. As they explored, the stronger was the belief that there was a need for a platform that brought these artisans to the forefront.
With these insights founder members Rahul Rajeev, Nickey Joseph, Suresh Radhakrishnan and Mathew Roy, set out on their journey on building a base that would get these artisans together and showcase their products before the world. With the digital India movement growing its foundation in India, there was no better platform than an e-commerce platform, that was simple for the jewellery lovers and the artisans to interact with. And thus, began the journey of the story called Festivya.
Know The Team
Festivya is a fun brand, with like-minded people coming together and aligning their goals and thoughts to develop an e-commerce model only for those passionate about handmade jewellery. Being experts in their own fields the founders came together with the single thought of building Festivya into a platform ‘for the jewellery lovers, by the jewellery lovers’.
Our CEO, Suresh Radhakrishnan
A serial entrepreneur with a successful environmental consulting firm in New Jersey, Suresh has vast experience in management and sales. Having worked extensively in B2B, he brings in expertise in marketing and partnerships, contributing tremendously to the success of Festivya.
Our COO, Rahul Rajeev
Based out of Kuwait, Rahul is a tech whiz who works for a Technology based firm in Kuwait. He also has his own IT business that is based out of India. His technical knowledge coupled with strong leadership qualities is a big asset in making Festivya a responsible shopping platform .
Our CFO, Mathew Roy
Mathew, like Rahul, is also based out of Kuwait and a technical genius himself. He has a full time work assignment in Kuwait and partners with Rahul in his IT business in India. A strong leader by nature, Mathew brings about his expertise to get Festivya to the level it truly deserves.
Our Director-India, Nickey Joseph
With his enriching experience with e-com giants, Nickey is a jack of all trades. His technical and designing knowledge works towards bettering the Festivya experience in every way for the users, while his management skill ensures that shipping and operations run smoothly.
Our CPO, Janani SriGuha
Janani came on board at a very early but critical phase of Festivya, when user interface was tricky! With unmatched technical expertise and experience with a New York based e-com business in Fashion, Janani was instrumental in turning Festivya into the way we see it now. Under her excellent leadership as CPO, she continues to drives the product, its marketing and ensures customer interactions are top notch.

Every artisan we work with has their own set of specialisation and expertise when it comes to jewellery making and designing. As a part of the Festivya mission, we intend to let our artisans do what they are best at doing, i.e. creating wonderful creations. We take pride in having a unique system by which we handle the entire logistics, marketing and distribution of products; which gives a huge boost to housewives, aspiring designers and students who are passionate about jewellery making. This inspires talented artisans to partner with Festivya, leaving behind the inhibitions of high operating costs and technical expertise involved with running a business.
