This is an elegantly crafted silver Tarakashi earring set. Tarakashi is a type of silver filigree work from Cuttack, a city from Odisha in the eastern part of India. It is an ancient art internationally known for its elegant craftsmanship. To make any filigree item, beaten silver is used to draw fine strands of wire which are soldered to form designs.
